The Time--The early 60's
With 5 years of Accordion lessons imprinted into his DNA, little Johnny was ready to ROCK....But it was tough to do on an Accordion.Suddenly,on February 9,1964 it all changed when The Beatles (and the hormones) kicked in at the same time.John noticed that all the girls were screaming...but not for the accordion players! So...he got a guitar,and learned how to play (hormones helped) with a lot of front porch sessions from local guitar pro,Tony Platt.
   During a 2 year "tour"of Germany in the early 70's,courtesy of Uncle Sam(1st Armored Div-404 MP Co) John played in a rock band with other draftees,all around Western Germany.For the past 3 decades he has been playing and singing   
    with various local bands (Check out the picture page) playing everything from Top 40 to Disco and Country,and even Polkas.He now performs as a solo act,featuring lots of 60's,70's& 80's music,and a bit of Country.Occasionally even a polka will creep in on the old "Button Box"!-Its a riot!
